How did you get to know Tarja?

Ok, so... This questions seems to be little ambiguous, but I mean this sense: how did you find Tarja's voice, songs? Smile

I'll start with myself. As probably most of us, I got to know Tarja when she used to sing in Nightwish. In my case it was 9 years ago. Good, old times. From my sister's room I heard some 'howling' Wink

so I asked her what was it, cause I liked it very much. My sister recorded me that CD (it turned out to be Wishmaster) on the tape and I started to listen to it. I was listening to this tape so hard, that it has broken down. So, I just had to buy all the CD's and become a great fan of Tarja Smile

Compare in the same time with some pirate mp3s just copied from my cousin. Between behemot and vader stuff I heard Angel Fall First (maybe first was Carpenter and chinese vocal :D (guess whose :P)

Not surprisingly, I first heard her voice when she sang in Nhghtwish and I immediately liked both Tarja's voice and the music. The first song I heard her sing was 'Nemo'. That's how it all began...

Some evening, 4 years ago I was laying down on sofa incredibly bored. I was looking for something interesting in television. Some video clip on Vivia intrigued me a bit so I wathed it. Soon after this clip Nemo was played. I was blown away! I thought "Oh my goth, this girl has such beautiful voice! And she's so pretty as well!" I was fascinated! I really, really wanted to hear this song again so I was sitting in front of TV whole evening waiting. Very quickly I assembled Nightwish discography, and with every next song I felt in love in Tarja's voice more and more (and it is like that always) Smile

My story is quite usual.

I'm a fan since October 2004. One evening I heard "Nemo" on the radio. I liked the music, but it was Tarja's voice that drew my attention. Love at first hearing? Definitely :) I wrote down the name of the band and next day I went into a record store to buy a single. Then I got "Once" and couldn't stop listening to it for weeks.

That's how it all started.

The first time I heard the voice of Tarja course for the Nightwish and "Nemo" and "Sleeping Sun". Her beautiful vocal long I walked on the head, I began to listen Nigtwish becoming more and more. The real explosion was a concert at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzow, in May 2005. Finally, I saw Tarja live. Loved, then the rest of the Nightwish and understandably also Tarja, and her beautiful voice in the same ............... so it began in August and lasts until today ...... ...

The first song in which I heard Tarja's voice was Kinslayer. It was on the demo of counter strike gameplay but It was amazing how clean is her voice, so I've loved it from the first hearing Smile

The first album which I've listened was of course Angels fall first (NW)... This album is my favourite.

Hm.. it was quite long time ago but i still remember this:) At some day my friend gave me few cds with random music files. On one of them i found some nice hard playing band(i was kinda pop fan at this moment of my life~~8 years ago) - Nightwish. There were few songs from Oceanborn album on cd(my fav were Moondance and Walking In The Air). I was overwhelmed by Tarja's singing style and felt in love from first note:PP As u can guess, i started to listen to them more and more:) Now i'm fan of Nightwish and Tarja:)
